Highlights - Western NSW Tour - November 3, 4 & 5, 2006
The western tour began in Richmond on Friday evening 3rd November and then travelled through Bathurst, Blayney, Wellington, Dubbo, Mudgee and Lithgow before returning to Sydney on Sunday evening, 5th November.
Everything flowed thoughtlessly: I had a wonderful time on the tour, everything flowed thoughtlessly from start to finish. Well over 100 people got their Realisation. The highlight for me were the vibrations that seemed to emanate from the very ground in Bathurst in the programme, where an Aboriginal elder belonging to the local indigenous tribe, greeted the Yogis to start the programme. This seemed to have the effect of great auspiciousness from the Mother Earth. In Dubbo there was a great deal of joy and appreciation of their Realisation in the seekers, some even joining in at the end, in the stick dancing. Everywhere at the programmes we felt great joy and thoughtless attention in our hearts. The Sahaj Indian bhajans were a river of bliss; the seekers felt it too. Finally we were looked after with great love by the Yogis living in the various areas: Blayney, Richmond (Kurrajong Heights), Bathurst, Lithgow (Katoomba). In these tours we go because we want to give Realisation, but the joy and personal growth is the dividend we get back. I definitely recommend you don’t miss the December tour! Jai Shri Mataji! Quintessential Sahaja Yoga: What a privilege it was to be part of the “divine’s convoy” spreading H.H. Shri Mataji’s message of love across the physically and spiritually arid lands of Central NSW. Collectively going out into the spiritual darkness to shine the light of Divine Love is, together with diligent meditation and clearing, quintessential Sahaja Yoga. Each new seeker that attends these programs is like a priceless seed which has the potential to propagate an entire forest. We should not forget this. New people attending these programs come along often filled with curiosity, shyness, uncertainty and doubt. We must do everything possible to provide the most conducive atmosphere for these people to experience an inner peace and a glimpse into the profound potential of Sahaja Yoga. Greg T.
A grand experience: The Western Leg of the tour was a grand experience. Cruising along the grand horizon of the very dry central NSW singing on the buses, experiencing the generosity of our hosts, meeting the many people who came to our programs and to the younger members of our Sahaj community who shared their joyfilled youth with us.
An acknowledgement to the Wiradjuree people, the traditional caretakers, for welcoming us onto their land allowing us to share Sahaja Yoga Meditation, connecting them to the Rainbow Serpent within. The Wiradjuree children enjoyed opening their hearts to the music by drumming and playing various instruments with the musicians. Elder Bill Allen, their pop, was overwhelmed with the generosity of the Yogis, as Yogis gave them shakers and a tambourine.
A word about ‘our’ respected elders – the ‘story tellers’ from our Sahaja collective who travelled with us - you know who you are - every word shared, every pearl of wisdom I will always cherish. Thank you for passing the messages on because we are ‘young’ and we do not know all the pearls and sometimes we speak, we breathe, we listen, we dance out of balance but love to be corrected, now that we know that that is a valuable lesson learnt. Please share more stories and lessons with us as these are the glorious times to learn - when we are together as One collective. Jai Shri Mataji. Merenia Ashwell.
I still feel so Silent inside: This was the second Australia Tour. I still feel so silent inside and not quite back here yet. It was another very enjoyable and memorable collective adventure. Once again more seekers quenched their thirst with the Nectar of Eternity. I feel country people are, in general, more open minded, more simple in their hearts and I am sure more grounded so they take to Sahaja Yoga in a very natural way straight away feeling the peace, the silence and the joy. Smiling faces swinging to the rhythm of the music could be seen even before going through the Self-Realisation process and a few just getting up and joining in the dancing at the end.
At Bathurst we all witnessed a very special and emotional moment when Aboriginals and Maoris come together. This significant occasion gave such a boost of vibrations that it did not take long for everyone to get on their feet and stick-dance, while Aboriginal children were also joining in with the musicians. We also had that magical moment at the Wellington program, which was held in a park where it turned into such a joyful party. It was a perfect setting for relaxing and fully expressing this river of Love that just wanted to bubble out, dancing and singing like little fairies in the night! Meenakshi Pujari
We were cocooned: From the minute I boarded the bus it felt as if we were cocooned in the Divine’s attention, and events during the weekend certainly affirmed this conclusion. The synchronicity of the weekend was amazing. Many thanks to the devoted team for co-ordinating transport, programs, accommodation and food; all our physical needs were extremely well catered for, and the spiritual rewards were beyond my dreams. I witnessed many seekers becoming connected with the Divine, their faces peaceful and happy with this wondrous event and, the glowing faces of the Sahaj Yogis, Yoginis and Yuva Shakti, as each of us experienced such a collective love and respect for one another. This pure sincerity meant so much to me and touched my Spirit. Edith
