Tour – South Australia
November 10th, 2006
The last two weekends SA Yogis and Yoginis have been busy taking Sahaja Yoga to country towns. Saturday 30th September was our first tour to Yankalilla, an hour’s drive from Adelaide. We had a stall at the Agricultural Society’s Annual Show. Although it was a bit slow to start with, about 70 people got their Self Realisation. Last Saturday and Sunday we had a great time giving Realisation to seekers at the Port Elliott Agricultural Society’s annual show. People kept coming to our stall. On Saturday 150 people and on Sunday 75 people got their Self Realisation. It was such a joyful experience for all of us, especially to see the newly settled Yogis confidently giving Realisation and talking to new people.
Many people from Adelaide were at the show and told us that they will come to our regular programs. It was really good to see a family of four, who got their Realisation last Sunday in Port Elliott, come to our program tonight. We had very encouraging responses from the seekers. One man who received his Realisation came back and told one of the Yoginis that he had a severe pain in his legs when he came to our stall, but when he left his pain was gone. Another lady said that she came tensed up but within minutes she was calm and joyous, and how could that be possible? She wanted us to go to Victor Harbour to teach Sahaja Yoga at their community centre.
The co-ordinator of Middleton Show asked us to have a stall at their show at the end of this month. Also there is Kapunda Agricultural Show coming up soon. This week we are starting Sahaja Yoga at the Brain Injury Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. By the Grace of Shri Mataji all these opportunities are coming our way, and sure enough we are all going to be very busy.
Thank you Shri Mataji! Jai Shri Mataji!
