What to say when words are not enough to express a dream come true. Or will it be a dreamtime story?

About six years ago we had the desire to know more about the traditional culture of Australia. The real Australia! We went to an Aboriginal philosophical farm two years in a row. Aboriginals and Maoris were sharing some of their knowledge with any interested foreigner to this sacred land. We had the opportunity to give Self-Realisation to some of the people attending this event. At that time we knew we were not really ready yet to share our knowledge, as we were not aware of their important protocol such as acknowledging the traditional owners of the land, their ways of teaching/sharing so different from our Western ways, and still uncertain how to openly state that the Rainbow Serpent is Mother Kundalini.

In 2002 I met an Aboriginal Elder at Town Hall in front of QVB. Spontaneously I asked: “Is it true that each and every human being has the Rainbow Serpent within himself?” Surprised, she replied: “Yes!” I continued: “Is it true that we can feel this Rainbow Serpent as a cool breeze in our hands, on the top of our head and in our body?”. Even more surprised, she agreed and said:

“The Rainbow Serpent is the Beauty, the Emerald City each and every human being is looking for, Go to Northern Territory, go to Uluru but, do not climb the Rock”. I absolutely agreed as we all know that Uluru is sacred. I told her that we were teaching about the Rainbow Serpent known also as Kundalini, Holy Ghost, Tao, Ruh, for free, to anyone interested, to help people to reconnect themselves with the Land and their roots. She was happy and while she was shaking my hand on leaving, my body became suddenly completely cool and remained cool for few hours.

Two years later we went to pay respect to Uluru and It was beyond our imagination. When Shalini put her hands on Uluru she said:” He told me thank you!”. Incredible vibrations, depth, gravity, innocence, silence, joy and a deeper respect for the guardians of this Land are some of the unforgettable feelings you get in front of His majestic presence.

If you have seen the outstanding movie “Ten Canoes”, some could feel it is another never-ending story!

But everything comes when time is right.

A week before the Western Tour (November 2006), Kelly organised a meeting with one of the Elder of the Wiradjuri People. Her name is Aunty Jill. She runs the Kelso community centre where we were going to hold the Bathurst program. Our meeting was very interesting. I told her my encounter with the Elder from Sydney, and she confirmed that the Rainbow Serpent is the Kundalini, that the Rainbow Serpent has nothing to do with the Aboriginality but with our Spirituality. The Rainbow Serpent is our Connection. I asked her what was the protocol for the welcoming ceremony. She told me few sentences to say. Then she offered to come herself if another Elder Uncle Bill Allen would not be able to come. We were so thrilled!

Back home we contacted Uncle Bill who accepted our invitation. We met Uncle Bill few years ago. He did show us some of Bathurst sacred sites. One of them is Mount Panorama! Would you believe? When we all (Uncle Bill, Aunty Purnima, Lawrence, Janine, Marcus and I) were together on this sacred hill, so many vibrations were coming from Mother Earth that I had to remove my shoes. He told us that now there are only two tribes meeting on Mount Panorama. Can you guess? They are namely Ford and Holden!!

So on the actual day of the program, after a collective and powerful Puja to Shri Durga and a request to the dead spirits in the area (some people could clearly feel the battle inside) to let us do Shri

Mataji’s work and to take their rebirth, we all went to the hall just across the road. We were waiting for Uncle Bill Allen to perform along with Merenia the welcoming ceremony. Some Aboriginal children would not come in unless and until Uncle Bill would be in. In the mean time Himani started to give Realisation to some of them. They could feel the cool and their eyes were glowing. After the welcoming ceremony where we found Uncle Bill carrying the sorrow of his people and at the same time astonished by the powerful Maori welcome by Merenia, the children went to sit around him and on him. They were waiting for the music and the stick dance, especially a little girl called Sally, 7 to 8 years of age. Dancing with her was such a joyful experience as one could see and feel the inner strength of the Aboriginal community in her big happy eyes.

Uncle Bill was very content and mentioned to Aunty Purnima that he would be interested in coming back as his people need a lot of healing. The follow-up programs are at the Kelso Community centre, 24 Bonner Street every Tuesday at 7.00pm. Join us anytime! Uncle Bill has not come back but the children did. He will when time is right. Jai Shri Mataji!

The regular weekly programs (re-named Realize Tassie Tour) starts in Hobart on
Tuesday night, then we journey to Burnie for Wednesday night, Devonport at
Midday on Thursday and Launceston on Thursday night.

We join up with Catherine Bisgaard and the Merga’s in Launceston - lovely feeling. Last night a lady who came to Catherine’s programs 10 years ago returned. Very happy she was, had been meditating regularly for all this time!

Rendel Allen from 18 years ago returned to a program in Devonport, tears in
his eyes he said, “A day has never gone by without thinking of Mother.”

One of the pleasant tasks we have is how to interweave beginners with the
“oldies”.

At the moment we are on a different chakra every week, to subtly weave the
knowledge without overloading. Once again the “lovely web’ weaves. Items turn up in the post or “didn’t know we had that” - something to fit the program.

The new Sahaja brochure has bought smiles to peoples faces, especially the beautiful heart opening photograph of H.H. Shri Mataji. Thanks to all involved in its production.

With love,
The Tasmanian Sahaja Collective.

The South Coast follow up programs are progressing well. Kiama has a regular body of four people, three of them being men.

Numbers at Albion Park vary from week to week.

Nowra – although a long way to travel, is well worth it because we now have a core body of six people attending regularly with new seekers arriving spontaneously. Four are from the Tour of October and two ladies who eagerly travel from Ulladulla each week.

This week we had two new people, an Australian man from Canada who is visiting family… he was fortunate to have three weeks worth of programs in one program - receiving not only his Self-Realisation but also learning how to give vibrations and the foot soaking technique. He absorbed H.H. Shri Mataji’s talk and left looking like a new man.

Highlights - Western NSW Tour - November 3, 4 & 5, 2006

The western tour began in Richmond on Friday evening 3rd November and then travelled through Bathurst, Blayney, Wellington, Dubbo, Mudgee and Lithgow before returning to Sydney on Sunday evening, 5th November.

Everything flowed thoughtlessly: I had a wonderful time on the tour, everything flowed thoughtlessly from start to finish. Well over 100 people got their Realisation. The highlight for me were the vibrations that seemed to emanate from the very ground in Bathurst in the programme, where an Aboriginal elder belonging to the local indigenous tribe, greeted the Yogis to start the programme. This seemed to have the effect of great auspiciousness from the Mother Earth. In Dubbo there was a great deal of joy and appreciation of their Realisation in the seekers, some even joining in at the end, in the stick dancing. Everywhere at the programmes we felt great joy and thoughtless attention in our hearts. The Sahaj Indian bhajans were a river of bliss; the seekers felt it too. Finally we were looked after with great love by the Yogis living in the various areas: Blayney, Richmond (Kurrajong Heights), Bathurst, Lithgow (Katoomba). In these tours we go because we want to give Realisation, but the joy and personal growth is the dividend we get back. I definitely recommend you don’t miss the December tour! Jai Shri Mataji! Tobias Patterson

Quintessential Sahaja Yoga: What a privilege it was to be part of the “divine’s convoy” spreading H.H. Shri Mataji’s message of love across the physically and spiritually arid lands of Central NSW. Collectively going out into the spiritual darkness to shine the light of Divine Love is, together with diligent meditation and clearing, quintessential Sahaja Yoga. Each new seeker that attends these programs is like a priceless seed which has the potential to propagate an entire forest. We should not forget this. New people attending these programs come along often filled with curiosity, shyness, uncertainty and doubt. We must do everything possible to provide the most conducive atmosphere for these people to experience an inner peace and a glimpse into the profound potential of Sahaja Yoga. Greg T.

A grand experience: The Western Leg of the tour was a grand experience. Cruising along the grand horizon of the very dry central NSW singing on the buses, experiencing the generosity of our hosts, meeting the many people who came to our programs and to the younger members of our Sahaj community who shared their joyfilled youth with us.

An acknowledgement to the Wiradjuree people, the traditional caretakers, for welcoming us onto their land allowing us to share Sahaja Yoga Meditation, connecting them to the Rainbow Serpent within. The Wiradjuree children enjoyed opening their hearts to the music by drumming and playing various instruments with the musicians. Elder Bill Allen, their pop, was overwhelmed with the generosity of the Yogis, as Yogis gave them shakers and a tambourine.

A word about ‘our’ respected elders – the ‘story tellers’ from our Sahaja collective who travelled with us - you know who you are - every word shared, every pearl of wisdom I will always cherish. Thank you for passing the messages on because we are ‘young’ and we do not know all the pearls and sometimes we speak, we breathe, we listen, we dance out of balance but love to be corrected, now that we know that that is a valuable lesson learnt. Please share more stories and lessons with us as these are the glorious times to learn - when we are together as One collective. Jai Shri Mataji. Merenia Ashwell.

I still feel so Silent inside: This was the second Australia Tour. I still feel so silent inside and not quite back here yet. It was another very enjoyable and memorable collective adventure. Once again more seekers quenched their thirst with the Nectar of Eternity. I feel country people are, in general, more open minded, more simple in their hearts and I am sure more grounded so they take to Sahaja Yoga in a very natural way straight away feeling the peace, the silence and the joy. Smiling faces swinging to the rhythm of the music could be seen even before going through the Self-Realisation process and a few just getting up and joining in the dancing at the end.
At Bathurst we all witnessed a very special and emotional moment when Aboriginals and Maoris come together. This significant occasion gave such a boost of vibrations that it did not take long for everyone to get on their feet and stick-dance, while Aboriginal children were also joining in with the musicians. We also had that magical moment at the Wellington program, which was held in a park where it turned into such a joyful party. It was a perfect setting for relaxing and fully expressing this river of Love that just wanted to bubble out, dancing and singing like little fairies in the night! Meenakshi Pujari

We were cocooned: From the minute I boarded the bus it felt as if we were cocooned in the Divine’s attention, and events during the weekend certainly affirmed this conclusion. The synchronicity of the weekend was amazing. Many thanks to the devoted team for co-ordinating transport, programs, accommodation and food; all our physical needs were extremely well catered for, and the spiritual rewards were beyond my dreams. I witnessed many seekers becoming connected with the Divine, their faces peaceful and happy with this wondrous event and, the glowing faces of the Sahaj Yogis, Yoginis and Yuva Shakti, as each of us experienced such a collective love and respect for one another. This pure sincerity meant so much to me and touched my Spirit. Edith
