\nOf one spreading tree:
\nIt is alone in its growth,
\nAlthough it has birthed many shoots.
\nAnd is it ever possible that branches
\nWould suddenly, in anger, hit each other?
\nReligions are the same as branches,
\nThat grew from one big tree.
\nAnd these, Shri Mataji’s words, not without reason
\nAll men with thankfulness accept.
\nIt’s time to understand
\nThat we are brothers,
\nBeyond the races, nationalities, and faiths,
\nAnd independent of our skin colors.
\nBecause like branches
\nJust one root we have!
\nThe Lord is one
\nThough there are many paths,
\nThat lead to Him –
\nThe goal is always one:
\nThe mountain peak that pierces clouds.
\nThe goal of life is union with God.
\nLet’s not forget Whose Image and Likeness we carry,
\nAnd we will understand to where we aspire.<\/em><\/p>\n
