Sahaja Yoga Meditation invites you to a truly uplifting event, featuring world-class Hindustani classical music and a unique experience of true meditation. The concert features Rhitom Sarkar from India, a slide guitar maestro.
About Rhitom Sarkar
Rhitom Sarkar is an internationally acclaimed Hindustani slide guitar virtuoso. A top-grade artist with All India Radio (AIR) and a disciple of music master Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya, Rhitom has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious ‘Sur-Mani’ award from Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai.
Blending the traditions of Hindustani slide guitar with the elegance of classical Spanish guitar, Rhitom creates an enchanting fusion of Eastern and Western melodies. His performances weave a rich tapestry of ragas and talas – evoking deep emotion, awakening the spirit, and resonating with the soul’s deepest rhythms.
The music will take you on a meditative journey, setting the perfect atmosphere for a short, guided meditation session.
About Sahaja Yoga

Shri Mataji introduced Her unique Sahaja Yoga meditation in 1970 and people in more than 120 countries now practise and enjoy the benefits of it. The technique begins with Self Realisation and awakens our inner spiritual aspect. As a result, we experience thoughtless awareness which promotes health and well-being.

The true meaning in life is explored by Janina Flueras in this beautifully crafted collection of poems. While our material desires may be met in our modern-day lives, we may still not be happy. The poems in Beyond: A Collection of Poems explore through metaphor the truth and beauty of what is beyond our mundane lives. Poetry can be the chariot which takes readers on a journey to find the source of truth, and the real joy and fulfilment within ourselves.
Janina Flueras’s book is available as an e-book on Amazon.
Janina is a Sahaja yogini from Romania. Her writing is inspired by her deep love of Shri Mataji, and her devotion to spreading Sahaja Yoga through her poems. Here are two examples of her poems:
Art
Only when my soul
becomes an arch between me
and Thee –
a rainbow above the world –
does my voice become a song,
my look become the light,
and my words become poetry.
It’s Such a Joy
It’s such a joy for me
to know
that the road I’m walking on,
this road that takes away all sin,
this road on which sometimes
I stumble over the stones,
this road which sometimes
I’m so afraid to travel on,
this inner road
sublimates my being.
At its end
I’ll be the perfume
that devotes itself to
Thy feet.
