To support the World Health Organisation’s recognition of World Mental Health Day, you are invited to a meditation class to learn how research in Australia and overseas is indicating that Sahaja Yoga meditation can improve mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

World Mental Health Day is observed on 10th October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues and mobilising efforts in support of better mental wellbeing.

Improve mental wellbeing
Research in Australia, and elsewhere, indicates that Sahaja Yoga meditation can improve physical, emotional and mental wellbeing plus reduce stress. Recent studies suggest that this meditation is unique even when compared to other forms of meditation. People who meditate regularly, using this meditation technique for around 20 minutes a day, may find they become healthier, calmer and much more relaxed, with an improved outlook on life. Illnesses and ailments can arise due to imbalances in the subtle system. Through Sahaja Yoga meditation one can correct, balance and nourish the subtle energy centres.

Integrate our life
Sahaja Yoga meditation aims to address emotional, mental and physical imbalance by awakening our innate spiritual potential. This is a simple but profound experience that naturally enables us to harmonise and integrate our life in a more positive way. Regular meditation naturally eliminates a lot of the inner stress and tension that we experience on a day to day basis.

Unlock the hidden potential
This is an opportunity to experience inner peace and the mental silence that comes from true meditation. You can unlock the hidden potential that exists in all of us, to help us manage our lives in a balanced and centred way.

Everyone welcome, regardless of age!
Includes live meditation music to help you connect to the bliss within.

To celebrate International Youth Day, we invite everyone to bring along young family members, friends and students to our free workshops to experience how meditation can assist with establishing mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well being for inner peace.

Workshops will be facilitated by youth, parents and carers who have been meditating for many years. They will explain how meditation works and then guide you through simple meditation techniques which you can practise on your own or with us at our free weekly classes.

About International Youth Day

International Youth Day was declared by the United Nations to remind the public of the importance of youth as a stage of life and is annually celebrated worldwide on 12th August. On International Youth Day, the youth are at the centre of our collective attention.

According to the Western European definition, the youth are boys and girls between 13 and 21. During this period of time, they go through adolescence – the process of finding their own identity – finish school, start a career and leave their parental homes to study, travel or work towards future goals. Due to all of the challenges of this period, the United Nations considers this annual International Youth Day relevant.
